SALVO is one of those gifted vocalists who can tap into something instinctive when he sings. Certain singers can get right under your skin, so that you feel every word. SALVO is one such singer. Brought up the hard way on the South side of Sicily he decided to come to England in the early1990’s. and spent a few years learning the language and persuading anyone he could get to listen to give him studio time. During that period he contributed vocals to the soundtrack of "A Life & Loves Of A She Devil ", worked with Trevor Horn and fronted funk soul act Freedom Or Not.

In 2002 Salvo embarked on his solo career,in May of that year he ripped the roof off the Shepherds Bush Empire whilst supporting Dina Carroll. November saw the launch of the first single "You Don't Know Me" at the National Theatre(Southbank). UNCONDITIONAL is SALVO'S first solo album, which combines his devotion to soul vocal styling with a commitment to cutting edge production. D-Influence (previous production credits include Shola Ama, Light House Family & Tom Jones) , producer Mark Hawkes (Boom Devil), New Yorker Thomas Foyer (Kaci) and Cliff Charles (Gabrielle, Lena Fiagbe and Robert Gordon) are all featured; making UNCONDITIONAL a unique groove/soul vocal album. Including original material and rare groove soul covers, George Clinton's "Cosmic Slop" , Bill Withers"Who Is He & What Is He To You" and "You Don't Know Me" made famous by RayCharles.

The album "UNCONDITIONAL" was launched with an exceptional live show at London's internationally acclaimed jazz venue, Ronnie Scott's in 2003.
